Default Intake Manifold and TB Question

I have a 95 Lt1 - stroked 383 with afr heads, lt4 hot cam and stock intake manifold and tb, running a vortex ram air intake. Car runs good but I want to go ahead since im **** and finish the Intake Manifold and throttlebody.

Question starts here..

whats the difference between 92-93, 94-97? I ordered the only Ported intake manifold I could find and its for 92-93 LT1... Will this fit my 95 motor? Also now that I am ordering the dual 58mm from BBK theres two part numbers 1544 94-97 and 1542 92-93... What could possibly be different? Now that i have a 92-93 manifold on the way does that mean i get a 92-93 TB? Or is something different on both the manifold and TB that will stop me from using them? If theres nothing different can I use the 92-93 manifold with the 94-97 TB?

I think that should just about cover my question.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Gabriel

The 92-93 LT1 intake doesn't have the fuel rail crossover like the 94-96 intakes. In short, your fuel rails won't work with that intake.

PM "cuisinartvette" about intake porting.

The front slot for the fuel line to come over? So all i have to do is mill that slot basically then and this manifold will work? BBK called and said the difference is in the cable only so im getting the 94-97 TB and i guess Ill have to hook this manifold to my bridgeport and Make my own slot for the fuel rail.

Well +1 if I could man thanks alot saved me the trouble of trying to figure out the difference and catching myself with my pants down and the manifold on the car going oh crap the fuel rail wont work!

So for sure thats the only difference is the little slot on the front? Just want to make sure there isnt any other differences before I install it.

Thank you again!

I have both intakes, think youre right on the fuel rail. Will put both side by side and see if theres any other difference.

The 92-93 intake is a LT1 and the 94-97 is a LT4 intake. You can't put a LT1 intake on LT4 heads, the ports don't match.

Or am I missing something here???

Yes, you are missing something. The LT4 intake only came on 1996 LT4 engines.
