Need tranny help quick!
Guys - I'm only a few steps away from removing the tranny and I think I've reached one of those sticking points. The service manual says to remove the TV cable at the transmission. I did release tension on the cable at the engine (ASR box), but the cable that goes into the tranny is of course attached to something in there. Any ideas on how to remove the TV cable at the tranny? Thanks in advance! :)

The trans end of your TV cable has an eyelet on the end of it. This attaches to what I can best describe as a rod shaped like a "?" (question mark) or hook on the end of it in the trans. It's not actually round, something like a "C" section on a rod . Anyhow, remove the bolt holding the TV cable to the trans. Pull the cable up until you see the "?" part of the rod. Simply unhook the cable from the rod. :cheers:
