Just two weeks ago I had a new digital read out up in my 92 roadster at the dealer. Because it was not working all the time.
Just yesterday it started blinking SYS on the left side where the fuel and gauge read outs are. I am wondering if anyone could tell me if this has happened to them and what the cause was.
I will most likely contact the dealer this week but would like to be able to tell him if it's something related to the new dash and not rely on them to tell me(if you know what I mean)
i've read that if you have an aftermarket stereo it will cause this due to the change in wiring from a factory headunit, and have seen it in practice on my friends 94
My guess is that you have a voltage problem somewhere. You will have to see if there is a loose connection somewhere. That would be my guess.
As to why I did not repond to your plea for assistance. Excuse me! But I was out having fun racing my Miller Lite sponsored off road car in an international race that had the likes of Rick Johnson and off road legend Ivan "Ironman" Stewart in their Pro Trucks. Even my wife does not expect help on a weekend as busy as this. :smash: :smash: :D
