I have a L98 iron head tpi that was dyno'd at 48,000 mi in 2006 an had 207 hp at the rear wheels. Since I have upgraded:
465 degree cam
roller tip rockers
performance lifters
double roller timing chain
fluid dampner
accell plugs, wires, super coil, and ecu
stock manifolds, but 2 1/2 in straight pipes all the way back to magnaflow mufflers, no y-pipe or cats..
Sounds great and runs fast.
Any tips, did i do anything wrong? do i need something else? ? How much hp would/could this give me?
Thank you guys.. for years of help..

probably not the answer you're lookin for, but if you like it and its reliable and you are enjoying it, dont over 'fix' it. sometimes they become unreliable and you spend more time fixin than drivin. hope this helps. I used to have an old 53 pan that vibrated something loose every 90 miles. we called that harley riders havin a roadside party, cause a bunch of folks would stop to see if they could help out, before locktight , of course.
465 degree cam?
Again not what you want to hear but you are dealing with an engine with a severely limited breathing capacity. The cam may help but you still have the restriction of the stock exhaust manifolds and the small runners. Heads are not the best in the world either. Everything else you did are members of the supporting cast, not prime time players. Your next buy should be a set of long tube headers. That will be a major improvement.
