Default Fog light removal

I removed the front bumper from my 84 and put it to my new convertible 89. Now, I need to replace the fog light from my 84 to my 89. This is ok if I need to remove the front bumper again if this is needed as I have not installed all the bolts yet. I looked in my 84 manual but cannot find the instructions. I also did my homework and research on the forum and found 250 links but none explains how to do it. Can someone point me to the direction on removing the fog light on the C4. Easy on my C5 but cannot find it on my C4s.

ByeC.

I vote, easyest to do it with the bumper cover off.

Only way to do it is to remove the bumper cover.

You cannot remove the fog light assembly with the bumper on the car.

that diagram for the C5 you've posted is more than youll need to do on a c4 , the c4 has all the wireing in the engine compartment. all you have to do on a c4 is remove the skin. pretty easy to do , just alot of screws. If you take your time, probably an hour to get it off and on. I reread your post , if you only want to change the bulbs, you can access those by lifting the hood, if you're going to change the complete light assy. you will need to remove the skin, again simple , just takes time.. if you swapped bumpers, just do it again.
