Steering wheel vibration
I tried a search, but didn't see what I'm looking for.
I have an issue with steering wheel vibration. At highway speeds, sometimes, the steering wheel will shake sometimes softly, sometimes violently. The odd thing to me is that the vibration is not felt in the car itself, the car doesn't shake, just the wheel.
I do need new front tires, yes. I do know that sometimes, especially cheaper tires (Summitomo) don't wear evenly. But my experience has been car vibration when this happens, this doesn't appear to be that.
Car drives straight as arrow, accleration, braking, cruising, etc.
The vibration is not constant, and even on the same stretch of road, may or may not vibrate.
I'm just not sure, after tires, of course, what to look at. (Rotors/brakes are fresh and were checked)
