rear camber question
so unfortunately i ate a curb a few weeks ago and it muffed my chrome up . **** dry hard tires. bought a new set of brushed aluminum ones going to chrome one when i get around to it. At any rate im rebuilding the front suspension at the moment (irrelivant to situation or curb) and the wheel i hit on is sitting like a baja bug. camber adjusted waaaaaay inward. and it sits a little **** eyed. i can pull a little bit more out of the camber adjustment 1/2 in or so. after a drive the wheel settles but its gonna wear that tire like they were chinese made. . that rear pass sits also about an in higher than the other side. Im leaning torwards a busted *** shock and need more of an adjustment. What do you guys think?

I think you need to jack the car up and inspect all the components vs guessing. If you know how to rebuild a front suspension, this should be a no brainer.

everything looks like its the way it should be other than fresh metal revealed beneath the camber bolt indicating its moving. everything is straight no bent components. just inquiring to make sure im on the right path here. but thanks

If you're certain nothing is bent, you may have lucked out in that the person that adjusted the rear camber did not tighten the inner camber adjustment bolt to the specified 170 ft/lbs.

A broken shock won't make the car sit higher or change the camber. Might have a bent rear knuckle.

The shock isn't out far enough to get ruined. But, the lower suspension arm (camber brace) would be the component that holds the bottom of the tire out. also, check the rear mount for the batwing and the rear hub mount.
Personally, I would disassemble the whole thing and check piece by piece.
