94 wont shift at wot
it shifts smooth during normal driving, but it revs at wot.
bought new set of solenoids , $19 each
gave it test drive and found it was fine shifting from 1-2 , but couldn't try from 2nd-3rd, i was in the neighborhood.
I hope everything is fine.

The 3-4 clutch pack in your 4L60E Auto trans is beginning to fail.
Why there is slippage at WOT &/ or won't downshift.
It is hydraulic downshifting but you can not notice because the in 3rd gear or direct drive the 3-4 clutch is slipping.
During normal driving with the worn out 3-4 clutch,
there is not enough engine torque to make the 3-4 clutch slip excessive.
But at WOT there is enough engine torque & RPM's to make the worn out 3-4 clutch slip bad.
Auto trans rebuild time soon likely.
