Hesitation when under full throttle
I've just recently started driving my '84 after quiring it over the winter. I've noticed that from a stand still at full throttle the car gets up and goes, and then almost dies out and then goes again in first gear. It does this in drive or when manually being shifted (auto car). I'm assuming it's flooding itself, I've read where the throttle bodies need to be synced and tuned. This is not something I'm comfortable with. Should I look elsewhere before taking it in to have it tuned? All suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
