'85 Engine Upgrade LS376/480 Need Help
I have an '85 undergoing a motor swap. I am replacing the stock L98 w/ an LS376/480 and my mechanic has run into some problems:
1) Cruise Control doesn't work due the fact that the LS is an electronic throttle;
2) Due to the fact that the LS is slightly shorter in length than the L98, the transmission, drive shaft, and torque arm no longer fit correctly;
3) Due to the drive assembly, the a/c interferes with where the motor is mounted.
Any ideas to any/all of these issues??
