Well, the transmission on my truck needing a rebuild has put off the super ram, so I figure for now I'd do something that's free to tide me over. Anyone take pics along the way of porting the plenum (and possibly manifold, but don't know that I want to take that off right now).
Thanks
Joe

Jim Milstead is doing the work for me. With the shape of the ports, there is only so much you can get at. You can remove the underside of the plenum and do a complete job and re-weld as it will be unseen. But the advantages are basically only seen on a 415 car.
I'll agree with that. I was kind of disappointed when I put the Accel lower/AS&M runners and ported plenum on and didn't gain anything. I'm sure it will pay off with heads and cam swap.
The main gain is in porting the intake manifold. Two runner feed air into one piston instead of one runner feeding air. The URL isn't working but the dyno showed a 40 HP gain by doing this. I am doing it now and will post pics on my web site when it is done.
