Default Battery fitment
Bought a new battery for my '85 today (75 size) and was surprised that the carrying strap handle attachment sticks out about 1/4" at both ends and prevents the side from aligning with the hood (it sticks out too far) as it should when re-installed. Obviously this can be remedied by sawing off the attachment (it's rubber case material) but does anyone else have a more creative solution?

No replies so sawing off the outside attachment is what I did and it fits.
