Hi everyone. The weather has been kinda lousy the past few days here, so no work outside.
I just did a little more prep work getting things ready.
1. Sandblasted the Bellhousing.
2. Sandblasted the Bellhousing lower Shield.
3. Sandblasted the Superram Intake Manifold to shine it up a little.
4. Transferred all sensors and fittings from stock manifold to Superram manifold.
5. Masked the Superram runners for painting.
I think that is it, I might of missed something. Nothing to exciting, but at least some more parts look brand new. :)
You have a sandblaster at your house? Your a lucky dog if you do. Sounds like you making good progress
Yes, sir! It's just one of the 'toys' my dad has. :) He actually built this himself out of I think 1/2 of an oil tank. I've got it loaded with glass bead right now.

That's creative! Glass bead media is the way to go. No scratching issue like using sand. How much psi are you using to blast with?
Re: [Tear Down Update 8-1/2]: Some more prep work. (scorp508)
Nice job on that BH...and those valve covers...going to repaint em???
Yea, weather sucks here for outside work too; just got the base off yesterday.
BTW, since you're into it these days maybe you can help. I have a lot of oil around intake rear and on the oil sender assy. Do you know if that unit can leak?? I don't think all the oil came from the intake gasket, it looks pretty good.
Thanks for any input and lets hope we catch a break in this weather.
