alrite guys. i got an 87 corvette. its the 5.7 tuned port injection 700r4 trans. anyway my block is cracked and i have been looking at a variety of engines for sometime now. i have been looking at the HO zz4 350 shortblock. This is where i am having trouble and this is my question, if i get that shorblock, will my L98 aluminum heads and tpi intake fit on to that block? also,if that does work, what cam is recommended if i were to do that? Thanx.

I would think the GM block would work. However, before I put down that kind of cash I would call the 800 # on that page and discuss it thoroughly with a tech, rather than ask some random guys on a forum.

Your answer is yes. Your heads, intake and TPI will fit. The ZZ4 short block is a roller block with a one piece rear seal. You will probably need a new pan, and if you have an automatic...a new flex plate.
Your choice of cam's may depend on which state you live in and what the SMOG requirements are within your state.
