Does anyone know where i can purchase some suspension components biased for the strip like 90/10's or atleast leaf springs to place more of the weight on the back. I really don't give a darn how much this effects the cornering, so even if you know of something extreme, please let me know.
Go find 1996LT1, he doesn't post much, but he usually posts in Drag Racing or the Northeast sections. He's a distributor for HAL shocks. I'll be getting a set from him(front only).
Stiffer rear spring, softer front spring, remove front sway bar, Adj Shocks (soft in front stiff in rear...then fine tune), raise the car slightly, DRM rear camber brackets (i think their trailing arm brackets are a step backwards personally).
These chassis work pretty well, particularly the later years with softer suspensions. Good luck
you can get used springs for a junk yard like comtemporary corvette. not sure what year your car is, but the later models tended to have softer springs. If you have an 84-87, you have very few choices.
the softest front spring you can get is the 1987 base or z52 touring suspension. Anything else is stiffer. I have that spring in mine and its still pretty stiff...if you ask me. The later models are much softer. maybe you could get an aftermarket spring that is softer.....i dunno.

Re: Drag Suspension (Oh My)
I've got Hal's in the front not sway bar, stock springs and the OEM 97,000 mile Bilstiens on the back. These car work great, Big gears big tires, and super 60'. Thats all you need.
Take a look of my car launching in the drag racing section.

Did the DRM trailing arm brackets make the rear of the car rise or squat upon launch? I was thinking of getting them but after what you said now I don't know?????
