Steering Column Issue
Hey guys,
New to posting, but I've been lurking since I bought my '86 a month or so ago.
It's been a project so far (bought it to be!), but I've run into a snag with the Steering column:
Unfortunately, I don't currently have a Steering wheel puller, so I can't really get in there to figure out which part that is.
Considering the likely possibility (or so I'm told) of needing a press to reinstall a new Steering Wheel knuckle, I was wondering if anyone knew if that piece was the knuckle or not.... I really don't want to have to take it to a shop. Everyone has quoted me at least 4-5 hours worth of labor.
It's part of the assembly after the piece where the ignition, etc, are...
Or, does anyone know where to buy fully assembled steering columns? Would any year fit?
