Reason I ask is that my Hooker headers were not cleaned up before install, the the gut charged me to do this. So now I need to double gasket, till I can get one of my cars out of the garage to work on the vette.
Forget double gaskets. Run Percy dead soft aluminum they're thick and soft and conform very well to imperfections. This way you don't have to take them off again later to redo.
I've run them and had great luck.

Any hardward store sells them. For short-term, you could probably use any bolt***...But, grade 8 or stainless works best. They are 3/8" x 16 pitch IIRC. The link above probably specifies.
You can even use allen head (cap screws) for appearance.
***I say this because it looked like I got plain old zinc bolts from the manufacturer of my headers.
