Default Miniram Results

Car: 1991 Z07
Other mods done to the car so far:
Main catalytic bypass
Magnaflow cat-back
Removed frisbee

Just changing the manifold to a miniram with no other changes, i.e. still stock cam, knocked approximately 0.8 to 0.9 seconds off of my 0-80mph time as recorded by Datamaster. Just thought I would share the results. Unfortunately, a bad day turned into a good day. See next post.....

nothing but Dunlop street tires (at the time) 275's on all fours:

13.2-13.3's with Edelbrock base/runners

12.6 (best with 1.9 60 foot) but normally 12.7's or 12.8's with crappy 60 foots 2.0 or higher; either bogging or spinning out of the hole with the manual/alum FW; street tires........

I went from 13.1s to 12.80 when I switched from Edel base TPIS runners to a Miniram.

I am running the TPIS/AFR heads which wanted more air

basically it was an oversite in my build, could not believe the differences they were claiming and I did not understand completely the benefits of a short runner intake vs. very long runner intake for my desired results. which is the key here.....different strokes, different folks.

No. It was raised to 5500 from 5000. According to the torque curve it probably has another 100-200 rpm in it but it also has 105000 miles on it with original valve springs and bottom end.
