Dr_Shakalu, as a 34 year veteran (retired) I also thank you for your service. I made my last flight out of Balad in Feb 2008 headed back to Ramstein. My youngest son is a C-17 loadmaster, he flies in/out of Ashcanistan every couple of weeks.
There are some great folks on this board, very knowledgeable about our chosen mode of transportation...there are a few wiseazzes, but really...listen to what they tell you. Sometimes Google is quicker than waiting for a reply on here...if you've got a C4 issue chances are well above 95% that someone else had that same problem, and it has been answered/solved.

Oh believe me, I know what a squid is...but you gotta admit the Navy has the Army/Air Force beat on their Exchanges! Saved tons on camera and stereo equipment back in the '70s and '80s shopping @ the NEX.
