What to use to get the gasket material off runners & plenum?

Permatex makes a good spray that loosens up the gaskets. I use a plastic scraper after that to eliminate any chances of gouging the surfaces.

plastic scrapper or plastic hard card... also try WD40 and green scotts bright pad

Let the solvent set for 20 or 30 mins to work.
