I have a 1993 40th anniversary Corvette with 38,000 miles on it. The interior lights will click on and off while the motor is running. It sounds like the relay switch in the dash is clicking off and on while is happening.
I talked to a few mechanics about this, however they will not touch C-4 electric. I need a good electric mechanic in Grand Rapids Mi. to look into this problem. Any Ideas?????

Is it coming from the right side? Not sure about your year but the older C4s have a delay timer underneath the dash on the right side. The clicking is most likely a solenoid and where it may be bad, most likely its one of the input sources triggering the solenoid making the clicking you hear. If you have an FSM check out the interior light circuit and check those inputs. The door switches on C4's are notorious for giving problems.
Thats a guess from me hopefully someone smarter and with more info will help ya out.
I have the same car, and have that problem too. On mine it is the switch on the door, when I close the door the switch doesn't make full contact with the door jamb. With the car running open a door at time and push in the switch and see if the interior lights shut off. I have a piece of cardboard over mine too fix it temporarily as I am having other problems.
Sounds like one of the pillar post switches , either of the doors . I taped a nickel on top of passenger side door and no more flickering. Replaced switch....xzo
