You do not want ZR1 wheels for your car unless it's actually a ZR1. The 17x11 ZR1 wheels only have 36mm offset, and that is not enough for a normal C4 from 88-96. They will poke out of your fenders. If you want 11" wheels, you should get the Grand Sport fitment, which is 50mm. With 315 tires, you can fit those at all four corners of your C4. If you want 9.5" wheels up front, the stock offset for that width is 56mm (that fitment chart that mmracecars posted is a little bit inaccurate in at least a couple offset specs), and every 88-96 C4 wheel I've seen comes in that offset. For aftermarket wheels, you should be able to go with as little 40mm offset or even a little less, if you want the wheels set out toward the outside edge of the fender. I've never seen that done, though, so I'd suggest a trial fitment before committing to something that different.

Herb, you might want to contact Bob at House of Wheels, 561-445-7606 He's a Forum vendor and has been one for many years. He carries a wide variety of wheels for Corvettes, new and old, original and reproduction. He's also been doing this long enough that he can tell you what works on your car and what doesn't.
I bought a set of correct off-set, Gran Sport style wheels for my '85 Corvette from him many years ago. They look and fit terrific and he was great to work with.
