FX3 shoks
my car has fx3 shocks but they are hard like steel and "service ride control" is on, what is the easiest way to verify the actuators or can be a problem with the shocks ?

I have the codes if you need them.
I just ignore the light, checked the actuator plug and it was fine. Car rides and handles great, but shocks are likely worn, at 110K.
If it is stiff, shocks are probably ok, set the selector to middle or to left.

You can pull the clip off on the actuator,be carefull not to loose it. Look up inside to see the plastic gear may be broken. Then look at the gear on the top of the shock to see if it is broken. CaptainCNC explains the whole thing on his web site.Shock gears are now available. Actuators can be rebuilt by Captain CNC does a real nice job, Tim. Pull your codes to find which shock or shocks are the problem
