Hi all, for some time I've been trying to figure out what is causing my '94 LT1 to show light hesitation off idle. One thing I just noticed is that when in park, at idle, and I stab the gas quick and hard the hesitation occurs, but curiously the back lighting of the digital speedometer, fuel level, odometer also dims a bit for a split second. It's as if for a second there is lack of enough current or voltage to run everything, which makes me wonder if at idle there isn't enough power to get a strong spark with the sudden addition of fuel and air. IDEAS? Thanks!

I had the alternator tested and it was deemed okay. I also replaced the ignition coil.
