ZF Bell Housing Bolt Pattern

Hey everyone:

Can anyone tell me if the bell housing bolt pattern on a LT1/LT4 is the same or different than a standard Chevy V8 bell housing?

I'm looking at putting a ZF behind a 500 Cadillac.

same. May be one at the top that doesnt get used on Gen 1 have to go look. Have LT1 T56 on a gen 1 bolts right up;zf should be the same.

That's good news, thanks. I can get an adapter that makes the 500 Cadillac bolt up to any V8 Chevy Bell Housing Trans. I wanted to make sure they were similar prior to picking up a new trans.

..... ALL longitudinal Chevy engines used the same bellhousing bolt pattern ... the Caddy used the Buick , Olds , Pontiac pattern .........

Yes, I know. I have an adapter that bolts up to the Caddy and allows any V8 Chevy Transmission to bolt up to it.
