Default Strange Noise Passenger Side

Hi, A while back I seem to recall a thread about a "ticking noise" on the passenger side toward the rear. Yesterday at start up I heard a noise that was coming from what seemed to be the back of the passenger seat but on the outside, as I gave more gas it sped up, slowed when I let off. Disappeared as car warmed up after a while Not a valve lifter tick nor a fuel injector noise. I don't think it's an exhaust noise either. I remember someone talking about a fuel filter related problem that did this, but I cannot find a search on it.
Anybody remember this?

Your car is a 86 , right ? I have the same sound.. I did some asking about this before and it turns out that the sound most probably is caused by pulsating pressure in the fuel-return line.. There was a TSB for this on the 86 and the correction was to mount a pressure-dampening thing in the return line. I checked but this part was of course discontinued. So my ticking is still there. If anybody has a good solution to this please tell us !

Yes mine is an '86. I thought it was something to do with fuel. Thanks Roar. Anybody know what the GM fix looked like.
