Re: (scorp508)
Here's another pic, hope this helps. I think the top two holes (The side with only two), would fit onto the two middle bolt holes in my valve cover as the plug wires run along the side.
I want to say yes that I have seen them on other L98s...... yet I am not 100% sure. :) I'd say get them and make sure they have a return policy just in case.

Re: (scorp508)
Summit sells them for $46.99 while Ecklers want's $69.99 for the same part. Ecklers made the mistake of listing the customers name (R&M) in their discription.
I called Summit and a girl over the phone told me they would not fit, but it sounded like she didn't have a clue.

Re: (scorp508)
It doesn't show that they fit an '86. It only shows it fits '87 and up.
But I don't think they're taking into consideration I have a late '86 with the same valve covers as an '87.
Here's their pic................
I think they would fit. :yesnod:
P.S. Ecklers price went up..........they want $74.99 for Aluminum finish and don't offer chrome.

Re: (scorp508)
One question, do they come with longer bolts for the center 2 holes?
Lets hope so, this is what the description says.
This set of R&M wire looms uses injection-molded insulators anchored to a billet aluminum bracket with recessed socket head cap screws to hold up to 8.5 mm plug wires. This setup allows you to route your wires away from exhaust heat without worrying about them coming loose.
I picked up a set for my 90, they would not fit on the passenger side because of the exhuast cross over tube to the intake on my car. I ended up installing them upside down. I bent them in a little bit and it worked. I also remember grinding them down to slide under the exhuast cross over tube.
I since have got rid of them and plan to make something else that works better.
Mr. Magoo,
I have the set you want, in BILLET ALUMINUM (aka: Chrome), it does NOT work with the factory exhaust manifolds. I just used the clips and some brackets from it. So, basically, it was a waste of $35. :( Woulda looked COOL if it would have worked...if you have headers, it'd probably work, but the EGR/AIR gets in the way.

Ahhhhhhhhh bummer!! I should cancel the order then. :( I do plan on going with long tube headers, but that's not till next year.
Made For You Products sells everything you need. Also Pace Parts sells Made For You products with some pretty good prices. I'm going with their aluminum brackets that mount to the side of the head. Great for an LT1.
