Drivers side window fixed
So today I pulled my drivers door apart because my window was stuck in the up position. I did the bang on the lower door trick, switched side swithes all the remedies I read on here, none of them worked. So I pulled the door apart to check out the situation. Here is what I found. The two rear bolts that secire the glass into the regulator were missing the pivot washers and nuts. The threaded studs were getting hung up on the regulator. I had to pry them off the regulator frame and made some plastic washer/shims to keep the glass in place and not shifting around when the window was operated. Tightened everything up and tested it out. Works perfectly even the automatic down function which hasn't worked in awhile. Must have been something in the switches which I cleaned really good while I had it apart. So after putting it all back together I went to the closest drive up (Sonic) fast food dive and had dinner. I put the window down as the waitress approached, evidently I had a huge smile on my face cause she asked what I was so happy about...
