Hi all ! I am looking to replace my injectors for these 2 reasons
(1987 Corvette)
I have a slightly rough idle plugs wires ect is new .. When I drive though all is smooth as silk .
Second is like 2 things , ocasionally it cranks a bit before it starts and i notice it smoke out tail pipe not only when stone cold but after it sits for a short while it is not blue smoke nor does it smoke for more the a second or 2 so I am thinking I am leaking some fuel into a cylinder or more ? Or I may be totally wrong and need valve stem seals.
Any ideas ? And if I do replace the injecors can I run 30 pounders or with a stock motor do i need to stay at 24 pounders ...

sounds to me like it may be an injector issue, but i would not rule out something else in conjunction with your injectors - valve stem seals, pressure regulator, etc. before you jump into anything, i'd run a fuel system diagnostics to get a baseline before doing anything. as far as going to 30 pounders, don't go there - bigger is not better on a stock engine. for injectors, contact Jon at FIC. he's our best source for anything injector related. as a side note, if you are running your 87 with original stem seals, i'd say they most likely need replaced.
You can go to 30pph but you cannot do it without programming. Still, why do you need 30pph unless you are running out of injector because you have done some serious work to the engine?
