I see the bolts but its the wires... one would think there would be a connector at the hinge but I don't see it. I am painting and the door came out crap so I want to be able to set it on horses to get a good spray.
Seems easier to cut the wires and then re connect them, than to pull them all out and attempt to pull through with a clothes hanger.
Is there a easy way to remove the outside panel to paint it?
I took the inner door panel off and disconnected everything & pulled the wires/connectors out of the door. BUT, I was replacing the entire interior after the car was painted, plus I was going from metallic gray to black so the inner jams had to be painted too. If you want it done right you'll have to do the same.
Sawzall requires to much work, just leave door open and backup into something and the door will come right off.
I feel your pain though, I replaced both doors on my 90 and had to remove all the wiring from the doors before they could be unbolted it's not really that hard though just take your time.
