Kinda bet you're missing the point of this thread.
FWIW, that "bung thing" is what O2 sensors screw into. LTx motors have one for each exhaust bank. L98's only have one on the DS. Because the air fittings are also different, that's why purchasing LTx headers for your L98 and visa-versa can be an issue.
That's in addition to the port confirguration differences shown on page 1 of this thread.
i have no pics of the o2 bungs but i did go to the track and made a n/a run the only thing i added from the last trip was the headers lst trip i strugeld to get a 13.7 @ 103 this trip i babyed it to a 135 @105 and that was short shifting it and leaving the line at 1600 rpms even if thier is a little over lap with the 1 5/8 headers they are beter than the stockers
the egr stuff was pulled and block off plates were installed and i pluged any unused vacum lines i left the ari pump in place that way when the car says kick on it dose and it hasnt thrown codes yet
