My LT4 cam project has been on the back burner for awhile. I took a million pics of everything but the PCM mount. I need some with the PCM removed showing the mount and bolts, etc.
Got my Rippie Camber and Trailing brackets, Banski kits., and ZF Doc Beam Plates Sure are pretty. Hope to get it back on the road soon.
Not sure if this will help Eddie, but does not seem like you are getting much response. This is of my 93 and I know the PCM on your 96 is different.
This one only has a single bolt seen just above the cruise servo, there is a slot on the bottom that slides onto another plastic bracket that is sandwiched between the brake booster and firewall. If this seems similar and you need a different camera angle let me know, I'll leave the ECM disconnected for now.
Sorry to let you down Eddie, but i have nothing here with the PCM out, i do remember having one somewhere, but i doesnt seem to be here... Ill keep looking, and if i find it, ill post it up
I should be able you whatever pictures you need, as long as I don't have to tear it too far apart.
There was a thread on this back in April, but I deleted all the pictures except one. So, I'll post that one.
If you need more, or a different angle let me know what you need.
The only picture I have left from a previous thread.
In this picture, I have circled in yellow the bottom support.
The bracket is attached to this support, and the support seems to be attached between the brake booster and firewall. (hard to see exactly).
With the pics, the mount went back on fine. Thanks to all that helped.
Actually, Bill has the beam plates made off site. His welder is Tim Smith and his welds are indeed beautiful.
