Wow, what a run-on sentence. Periods, capitals and comma's are your friends. Have you checked your fuel pressure when the devil is around?
Is this close to what you meant?? Sorry for the translation but some of these guys on this forum have trouble reading gud english.
The Devil's jackin' with my Vette. I have been having issues with her. It started a couple of week ago with a tow truck ride home from the side of road when she laid down on me. Any way, it started fine the next day and then the next day wouldn't start. The reason was no injector pulse. I started throwing parts at it. I changed the ICM, coil, checked my wiring harness for shorts, and checked the injectors pulse from opti, ect. I still had nothing and was starting to think ECM.
I've been going out at least once a day for the last 2 weeks to see if she would heal herself but it never would. I went out today to try it again and it still wouldn't start. I unplugged the TPS and tried around in the 9.1 section 9.4 9.7 pushing buttons then tried to start it again(Can't translate this) What the h@#$, it fired right up and now has me confused. After weeks of no start, all of the sudden it starts after jacking around in dio(Don't know again, maybe diagnostic) mode. It sat there and idled for about 5 min and then died and would not restart.
Okay, I the Officers on the boat hated it when I gave them this answer, but I swear it happens fairly often.
It's kinda the same reason we disconnect the battery for a little while to reset the ECM. When you run a system into diagnostics mode it changes over a bunch of gates in the ECM. These are electronic gates, not mechanical. When you run voltage constantly through them, they tend to "stick". Diagnostics mode may kick them over. It kinda does a reboot on a microelectronics level.
I'm not blowing smoke up your a**, this is the type of thing that is credited to "gremlins". Something bad happens, then just magically disappears. Keep looking for an underlying problem, but sometimes you may have to chalk it up to the gremlins.
