Sticking throttle?
Anybody have their throttle stick? Mine is sticking when I get off the gas after normal cruising at 60 mph or so. Feels like the cruise doesn't disengage, but it does. I have to kick the pedal down to get it to release back to idle. What do you think, throttle body needs cleaning? BTW, it's a 92 LT1 6spd vert.

If lubing the shaft doesn't help,try moving the throttle shaft up and down to see if there"s any play ..When these TBs get older and well used they have a tendence to round out the hole the shaft passes through causing the shaft to bind.If this is the problem you can have the TB shaft rebushed so it works smoothly and doesn't bind....WW

In addition, put a drop or two of oil in the butterfly shaft on each side of the throttlebody. This light oiling eliminated my sticking throttle a couple of years ago.
