Fuel Pump - Hard Start

Fuel Pump - Hard Start

Checked voltage at my fuel pump
3 wires which I believe are
Tan - Oil pressure switch
Red - Fuel pump relay
Black - Ground
Tested with a multi-meter and got the following
Tan/Black - 12.88 volts
Red/Black - 1.5 volts
So I am thinking I might have a bad relay causing my hard start problem due to the low voltage????????????????????

..... Open the fuel filler door , take off the cap and have a friend turn the ignition key to the on position while you listen to hear if the fuel pump comes on for 2-3 seconds ... if it does not turn on ... your relay may be bad and its time to troubleshoot it and its wiring to find out why ... fuel pump relays are not expensive , but there's no point in throwing parts at a car in hopes of curing its ailments ............
