is there a proper adjustment to zero out throttle position sensor?
I took apart my throttle body, and cleaned everything... it was staying stuck slightly open... now that I fixed that I realized I took the throttle position sensor off and deloaded that little piece. on my particular throttle body there is alot of "room" to adjust that sensor up down or left right etc.
let me ask another one, right behind the TPS on the butterfly shaft is a little lever arm, that arm is held to the butterfly shaft by a screw and some washers that press over/onto the shaft and the screw goes on end of shaft... the lever arm sits between screw and washers.
can I use some spray paint on that screw to keep it from coming off/out? I can not tighten that screw down TOO tight because if I do then the butterfly shaft pulls and pushes the blades into the walls of the throttle body and the throttle body wont open. that screw is coming undone and causing that lever arm to flop around snap of the TPS.
i'm going to read that article closely, but I don't think I understand what it is asking me to do. lol, pretty tired atm, i'm sure it will make more sense tomorrow after some sleep.
thankyou.
