There is a gasket between the distributor and the manifold. If torn or missing, that can cause a leak. More likely it is the area between the rear of the intake and the block that is leaking.
can you guys tell me which one is it from the corvettecentral.com or rockauto.com ?
they ship overseas
the car is 1991 corvette L98
383vett, yes in the rear of the intake area and I think that the gasket between the intake and the distributor is the only place that could leak from ... or do you have any other suggestions what else to check ? ?

thank you
He means where the intake and the block meet at the rear. Most likely leak location. If you need the distributor gasket though, PM me an address and I'll post you one.
OK Dan, The gasket is on its way. Should be with you in a few days. I just stuck it in an envelope. Probably not your leak, but you'll be able to rule it out. Best of luck.
is it possible to leak oil from the distributor where it connects to the engine?
yes it is, but not likely. even if you didn't have a gasket there....
well at least on L98 series engines, if you didn't have a gasket there it would be not likely to cause an oil leak, though it wouldn't exactly be smart not too...
well if it steel leaks, can you advice which gasket is the one from between the intake and block ? ?
Dan, I'm sorry I don't have a picture of the rear. I'll try to find one, but for now you can get a good idea of what we are talking about by looking at the front:
The horizontal line where the silver meets the black (intake meets the block) will have a seal. Should be RTV. The rear is the similar and where leaks usually start.
