1990 L98 erratic miss

1990 L98 erratic miss
My 1990 L98 auto, with ~59,000 miles has just started developing an erratic miss that gets worse as the car warms up. Most recently it got so bad that the car started on hot restart but would load up and immediately stall. After it sat for a while it restarted and ran well enough to get home. It has always been a strong runner up until now. Any thoughts on where to start diagnosing and solving my problem?

Ohm the fuel injectors. Check out the sticky thread by FIC for instructions.
Check fuel pressure. Get a gauge and tape it to the windshield then go for a drive. Should be somewhere in the neighborhood of 43psi.
Those were the two things that caused the same issue for me with my 90. Fuel pump and Fuel injectors.

My 90 was doing the same thing and it ran worse till it died on me after I started running injector cleaner through it. A tune up did not help. But, after I ordered a set of Bosch III's from Jon at FIC and installed them now the car is running great. I think it is running a little rich now as the fuel mileage has dropped from close to 30 mpg hwy to 19 mpg. I now need to read up on chip tuning. When I swapped the injectors I ported the Plenum and runners so it could breath a little better and it does seem to have a little more top end. I am sure I can get a little more power with a chip tune. Hopefully I can get started before the sanding of the roads start.
