sub for LT-1 fuel pump
I been told that you can use a fuel pump from a '93 Suburban on my '93 Vette. It suppose to be a direct replacement at less cost. Can anybody confirm this?

Why?? Just order the kit from Racetronix. Its inexpensive enough, uses a quality pump and includes everything you need to change the pump.
If the Suburban pump is a replacement you still need a gasket, probably new bolts, etc.

I'd be really surprized if it would work. The suburban of that vintage was still TBI as far ask I know and worked on lower fuel pressure.
One way to find out for sure is check some of the auto parts websites (like rockauto) and cross reference the part numbers.

even ebay sellers will have a chart showing applications
A TBI pump wont have the vol of the TPI pump. Pressure might be similar, but vol is what the engine wants at higher rpm.

The tbi worked around 13 psi vs 39ish psi for the tpi. I believe they will both be capable of similar volumes.
