84 corvette and coolant temp
I have an 84 corvette with a cooling temp problem, The sensor that reads the coolant tamp always reads low temp in my car where is this sensor located in the engine ?? :mad

you have two coolant temp sensors. One on the front of the intake. There has been an updated wiring harness for that sensor, if it has not been replaced you might consider replacing the sensor and the harness, yes you will have to cut and splice the existing harness. There is a fan sensor on the passenger side head between # 6 and #8 spark plug. Some have a sensor between #1 and #3 too I believe. On a car that old, you might want to consider replacing all the sensors just to be on the safe side. Enjoy the car and good luck with the fix.
