Help!!!!!!!! still have a code 15, fan running constantly
I recently replaced my water pump and its turning into a nightmare.. after i flushed the system i changed the water pump and now i have a service engine light, and i was told to let the engine run to normal operating temp and when the thermostat opens i could fill it all the way up and the code would go away, but now the stupid fan is running constantly and the coolant will not get to 195 so the stat will not open....how can i fix this or is there some other reason im gettting this code..

You have headlight flashers?
Code 15 means the coolant temp sensor under the Throttle body is providing an impossilby low reading unless you are in Antactica in the winter. This is generally caused by being disconnected or a broken wire to the sensor or a broken sensor.
You can test the wireing by removing the sensor connector and shorting the two pins together. First clear all codes by removing the negative battery cable for a minute, then do test. You should now get code 14. If still code 15 then the wires, connector, ecm is where to look. If you get 14 and no 15 (after clearing) then very likely sensor is bad.
Fan being on all the time is another issue. Does the fan come on with just the key on, no start?
Check sensor first, then you can worry about the fan. One thing at a time.

 yeah, just for fun. They sure do get people outta your way though.

would this affect my digidash coolant temp display? it seems to be normal there......
I thought the coolant temperature sensor was on the radiator.........also, i did notice a two pronged connector near the throttle body disconnected, but i cant seem to find where it goes...could this be the cause of my code 15?

On my 96, when the ECT sensor has impossible readings (like if the ECT sensors is open) then the fans come on right away. This is to protect the engine, the PCM assumes the worst and kicks the fans on. It may be that both problems are related.

No effect on digi-dash, it has it's very own temp sensor on the passenger side above the starter.
The sensor on the radiator is a low coolant sensor.
Yes, that two pronged plug is your problem. Go in with a flashlight and look in the block below the throttle body and you will find a sensor that needs a plug!
