Change Oil Light ?

I was driving the Vette today and the Change oil light come on ?

how do i get this to go off ?

Change oil light reset

Resetting the change oil light is well documented in the FSM as well as here in the forum. When I purchased my 95 a few years ago, I performed the reset procedure many times with no success. I found the gauges button to be inoperative in the Digital Information Center. After replacing the DIC I was able to successfully reset the change oil light. A bad DIC button is probably rare. However, it is something to check if the reset procedure does not work.

On most modern GM vehicles you can key on (no start), push the gas peddle to the floor three times, and the change oil system will reset.
