Need some help. When driving my corvette will just shut off and start right back up. I replaced fuel injectors, EGR valve, fuel pressure regulator, all relays, fuel pump and filter, IAC, TPS, all the other sensors except the Knock sensor, new wires, spark plugs, distributor cap, O2 sensor, etc. Car starts right up all the time, just hit the key. Car has original computer and replacement clip. Also the car has a new alternator.
If anyone can help on this issue, I would really appreciate your input.
This would be my guess also.. The ICM is usually temperture sensative and will start causing problems after the car reaches running temperture. It usually causes the car to shut off like someone through a switch, but then will start right up...If its not the ICM have the coil checked ,this can cause it to cut out also, but when mine went out it wouldn't start right back up till it cooled off...But, Before doing anything else I would check for codes.....WW

I also recently changed the coil . I replace the ECM and see what that does. Do you know what the best brand of ECM to install? Thanks for your help.

The ignition control module is in the distributor cap. I believe replacements can be found at your local auto parts store.
Look for this inside the distributor cap....
Check all the wires/connectors in that area. Could have an intermittent connector. Check all wires inside with volt/ohm meter and wiggle while doing so.
Also could have a break in the dizzy reference wire...loose connector at the MAF...or faulty ECM.
Try cleaning and putting dialectic grease on the MAF connections first (just under the rear of the MAF). The ICM would be my next guess. ECM's used to be available rebuilt from NAPA. Don't know anymore.
Also, have heard some mention of faulty injector drivers but haven't learned where that's located or if it can be intermittent.
