Default '96 O2 Sensor wiring

I just bought a '96 w/LT1 that has been sitting for 8 years. Has new tires, oil, coolant and hoses, so far. And I started putting the interior back together. The woman who had it kept it cranked every so often, so it does run.

I have a problem with the rear driver's side O2 sensor (bank 1, sensor 2). It has the 4 wires coming out of it, the connector and wire covering are gone, and I can't find the connector and cable that it is supposed to plug into.

I have a copy of the GM service manual on DVD, but so far it has been as much frustration as help. In the schematics it shows 4 O2 sensors. In the wiring harness location illustrations it shows one (front) on the left side, two on the right. No left rear. On another illustration it shows the left rear sensor, but no wire connected to it.

Does anyone know where the wire and connector for the sensor are supposed to come from? I suspect that the previous owner cut them off, but I don't know if they came from the harness that goes back by the transmission, or from the rear area of the engine.

thanks,
Neal

Thanks, that gives me a source for the connector that I need. Now all I have to do is figure out what to connect it to.

According to pages 6-295/6 of the service manual it looks like the tan/wht from 17 and the ppl/wht from 18 of the c3 connector of the pcm. The pcm end of the wires is easy, finding the other end is a little tight. Then I have to find the brown and black wires for the 12v heater.
