so i have my fuel rail off of my superram finally... (trying to drop in my bosch 30lb'ers coincidentally enough...)
now what to put on the threads? i think last time i used that white pipe thread wrapping tape on them... but I am thinking about it this time and not sure I want to put anything on them.... I don't put anything on the threads at my fuel filter. I don't see why that spot should be any different.

The white tape is for a tapered fitting, not a "standard" bolt. If you use the tape and then try to use a torque wrench, the results will be misleading. The tape reduces friction and will likely result in an overtorque. An espcecially bad idea is to use the tape on aluminum. Just make sure the threads a clean and use a torque wrench if possible.
