I have started to try to adjust my Toledo Pro hood on my 84, and the sides above the quarter fenders seem to be short, there is too much space above the cross-fire trim. Has anyone else had this problem?
Also, any tips on adjusting the hood would be great, a friend and I worked on it for a few hours Saturday without much luck.

Have you removed all of the shims for the front hinge? If not, try that next. That will lower the entire plane of the hood. Also, you can put a washer on each top "gill" panel tab to lift them up a bit. (You'll feel like you're flexing that panel a bit.)
I ended up moving my hood to the rear as far as possible. This was until the hood-to-door gap was a hair too small (especially on the DS). Then, I tood sandpaper and hand-shaped that curve to create a perfect gap. By doing so, the PS looked better. That's because there's a factory mold problem that creates a slightly enlarged gap at the top of the hood-to-door space on that side.
Adjust the front bumper after you're happy with the hood-to-door gap and "gill" spacing. To be honest, you'll never get it perfect. That's because the factory setup isn't perfect -- and that's what they molded it off of.
