Spindle Rods
Did later model C4's come with adjustable spindle rods? Looks like this one.
I think I've seen these on a '96. I guess they're for adjusting the thrust angle without having to shim the frame brackets.
Can someone confirm?

No they didn't. To adjust the thrust angle, simply adjust the rear tie rods to the rears point straight ahead with the proper toe if desired.

Forget about buying aftermarket bushings for those. The bushing sizes are different than 88-95.
