ignition code
I pulled a code that just showed up after a new opti was put on..
CODE: it was in thr 4.0 series H42.... DTC #42: Ignition Control Circuit Shorted...was what the code was...
What could be the causes?
Car runs great, I had a ICM problem last year were it went threw a couple of them..I havent had a problem in a while..Any sugjections

I googled the code and read where a kid wiggled his ICM and it would kill the motor and shoot the code. The he tightened the ICM pins and the car started and never died and has not popped a code.
I will look into the wiring and mounting of the ICM..
Anyone ever pull this code either?
