I have the Grand Sport front calipers. When you powder coat, do you mask the lettering on the caliper or hit it with a belt sander after coating?
How much extra for this if they are lettered?
Yes, we can hit it with a belt sander after the color has been baked. We then apply a clear coat and bake it again so the aluminum logo never tarnishes. Cost is $25 per caliper extra.
This will have to be a winter project. I hate to have the car down for several weeks while the calipers are off being rebuilt.
Don, I can send you my GS Calipers for you to use while yours are out if you want. I'm sorry I missed you at Carlisle. I went by the NCoA Tent on Saturday afternoon, but didn't see you. I brought you a Corvette Club UK hat too! If you want the hat and or the calipers, PM me and I'll send them to you and you can send the calipers back when yours are done. I'm in no hurry as my car will be down for quite a while yet and when I put it back together I have C5 Z06 calipers to go on.

Ray.... I may take you up on that if you really can part with them for a while. Let me chew on it for a while.
As far as Carlisle goes... we got nervous about hurricane Irene and left on Friday evening. We live near the water and hurricanes have a way of messing things up where we live. Anyway we came away from Irene unscathed and wish I had stayed at least until Saturday. But, it is what it is. Always next year. I also forgot the CCA club banner and it was hard for some people to find us on the fun field. We had about 60 cars on Friday parked in our spots. I loved the location of the tent and can't wait until next year.

I know what you mean. There were fewer folks there Saturday than Friday, that's for sure. I knew many would be heading back early to protect their homes. It sounds like you folks up the Bay made out OK. A few of my old Navy pals in Annapolis said things weren't too bad. I've replied to your PM.
