Default Engine dies

Ok, here it goes. I hate asking for help but I put a 383 in a 1990 Corvette. Everything works great but! when driving or sometimes at idle the car will just shut off (die). Then the Service engine light and some relays under the hood start flickering. If I wait awhile it will start back up and run fine until it does it again. I scanned the computer and it does not set off any codes. I checked and all the sensors are working properly. The only thing I noticed once was that it said my volts were 6 volts for a second then 24 volts then it went back to 13.8 volts. I changed the alternator. Now the car at idle will just die. I have not had a chance to take it for a drive yet but any extra help or things to look for would be appreciated.
Thx Darren

voltage regulator?? Try emailing Lingenfelter with the same question from their website, they build 383's all day long, they probably know it in their sleep.
